especifico para uso en torres y otros
obstáculos para la aviaci�n. El PFB
tiene un lente de fresnel rojo y está
sujetado en la mitad por una bisagra.

El
sistema de iluminación de luz roja
constante, sencilla se utiliza como
balizamiento secundario para marcar
estructuras de gran altura que
representen un peligro para la
navegación aérea. Cuando se instalan
de acuerdo a las regulaciones de la FAA
AC 70/7460-1 y si aplicara la FCC y el
reglamento de la ICAO, estas luces
prevén a los pilotos durante la noche a
estar alerta y alejarse de posibles
obstáculos.
Las
luces junto con el sistema L-864 y su
controlador, conforman un sistema de
iluminación integrado. Si se utilizan
individualmente las luces sencillas o
dobles, se pueden montar directamente a
un tubo y pueden ser combinados con un
transformador universal y un relevador
de alarma como respaldo (back-up) de la
lámpara e indicaciones con alarma a
remoto de indicaciones de falla.
De acuerdo a las especificaciones de la
FAA, solamente se requiere de un
controlador fotoeléctrico PPC, para
suministrar la activación de

Battery Backup Systems for LED Traffic Signs Increase the public safety and reduced traffic congestion by allowing traffic lights to function even during a power failure. A typical traffic signal intersection experiences eight to ten local power outages annually. With IQUPS battery backup power, some or all the traffic control signals can continue to operate. This seamless switchover to battery power increases public safety and eliminates the need to dispatch police or other service personnel to direct traffic. If all traffic signals were converted to LEDs, the battery backup system would allow full operation of the traffic signals during a power outage, thus alleviating traffic congestion.
